Paignton Zoo, a historic zoological park in Devon, has been a beloved destination since its opening in 1923. Spanning 80 acres, it is home to thousands of animals from hundreds of species, attracting visitors of all ages.
As part of its ongoing commitment to providing engaging and educational experiences, the zoo sought to replace an outdated playground next to one of its food and beverage areas with a new, nature-inspired play space.
The new natural playground has an engaging, educational, and environmentally harmonious play space. Through thoughtful design, local craftsmanship, and community involvement, TouchWood have delivered a playground that meets the zoo’s needs and enhances the visitor experience.
