BIAZA/ICCCG Giraffe Behaviour Workshop 2025

Would you like to learn cutting edge information on how to better care for giraffe? Our upcoming Giraffe Behaviour Workshop offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in a variety of topics with content experts. This collaborative workshop is designed to pair lecture material with hands-on opportunities in giraffe training & behaviour, hoof care, environmental enhancements, and leadership/problem solving, as well as a brief look into how enclosure design and management practices can stimulate and encourage natural foraging behaviours and reduce undesired behaviours.

Kindly hosted by West Midlands Safari Park, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's International Centre for the Care and Conservation of Giraffe will be partnering with BIAZA and Behaviour Works to host this second workshop focused on improving welfare for giraffe in zoos.

This workshop will be equally valuable to those delegates who previously attended the 2024 workshop, and any new delegates. It will provide not only a refresher on material previously delivered, but will provide new content to build upon existing skills and experience.
